Westerville North Theatre Department presents CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN October 16-18
CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN is a heartwarming and humorous play about an unusually large and rather unique family at the turn of the century. The play is the real life story of the Gilbreth family, told in flashback style, with narration by two of the twelve children. Mr. Gilbreth is an efficiency expert who runs the family "just like a factory" while Mrs. Gilbreth is a reknown psychologist who is very understanding of how hard it is to grow up with so many siblings. The show's storyline focuses on eldest daughter Anne's coming of age and her rebellion against her protective father. Dad wants the family to use their time wisely while Anne wishes for boys to notice her and ask her on a date. Times truly haven't changed much since 1920 when it comes to parent/teenager relationships! With the Gilbreth family, we learn the true definition of "family" in good times and hard times.
Performance Dates are October 16, 17, 18 - 7pm - WNHS Auditorium - 950 County Line Road.
General Admission tickets are $6 per seat.
